... and me.
About Me
- lieveling
- I grew up in small country side town, Klawer, on the boarder of the Namaqualand. From an early age I found that hosting friends and family for dinner was second nature to me. Setting tables, creating décor and cooking were only a few of the ultimate enjoyments in my life. After I matriculated, completed an advanced course in hospitality management and worked in various five star establishments locally and abroad where I concentrated on food and beverage. I soon enrolled in a chef and event management course. After completion my desire and experience in the wedding industry soon lead to create Lieveling weddings...

Make-up shoot
first photo on left:
This was my wedding inspired look, I wanted to do soft and natural colours on the eyes, lips and cheeks to bing out the feminine beauty out of the model.

second photo on left:
The theme for this look was beauty with colour, and the 2 colours that just came to my mind was pink and purple as they just blend perfectly with each other and gives the illusion of a clean and fresh look.
third photo on left:
I just love black and white photography make-up as it tells a different but yet stylish story. I wanted to go dark and big with the eyes with a little spark, so I did the wing smoky eye with golden eye shimmer in the corners to lighten it up. [tip: use cellotape to get the perfect clean wing]
fourth photo on left:
I worked with a photographer that gave out a brief for this specific look. The model’s lips had to be the focus point by doing a pink lip with a red undertone. The eyes were very subtle to fit the look properly.

I absolutely love a redhead girl and when I saw the beautiful pink eyelashes I just knew that my redhead model would work perfectly for this shoot. I played around and had lots of fun creating this look.

This was a “Vogue” inspired look ... I wanted to do something completely out and around the box. With lots of thinking and playing around I ended up with this award winning look. [“Best Picture of the Year 2011 at Kohl Make-up Academy] I am very proud. :)
